On the go

Turn this on before you pull out. Then don't look at the screen again.

Say the idea out loud. I'll keep up, and it'll be waiting for you at your desk.

How this actually works

No magic, just browser APIs used carefully.

Speech in, speech out

Your device's own speech recognition transcribes you continuously; replies are read aloud by the device's voice. No wake word needed once car mode is on — it takes turns with you, waiting for a pause before it answers.

Dead zones

Anything you say while you have no signal is buffered on the device and sent when the connection comes back. You will not lose the idea in a valley.

Safety

Car mode renders nothing worth looking at: no lists, no cards, no notifications. If it detects you're interacting with the screen while moving, it stops responding visually and stays with voice.

Installed like an app

Add Quillvein to your home screen and it opens straight into this screen, offline capable, with no browser chrome in the way.

Caught on the road

Everything car mode filed for you.

What if the road is a scar and not a thing anyone built

Tuesday, driving

Last week

Ending image: salt, not glass. Everything she carried turning white in her hands.

Yesterday, driving
